Understanding the Summer Reader Staff Home Page

For staff, all activities in Summer Reader begin on the Summer Reader Staff Home Page. This is the first page you'll see after logging in.

To perform most functions, head to the System Maintenance page. You can get there from the System Maintenance tab at the top.

Along the left hand side, you can do a search for a specific registrant by name,or custom criteria. You can also access advanced search options. The search will search in all programs.

To search a specific program only, click on the program abbreviation. This is under the column labeled "Program".

There are three icons that appear after the program column:

	Program Setup	This allows you to edit the program in question
	Search This Program	Allows you to search for a specific registrant just in this program
	Manage Reviews\Comments	Allows you to read and moderate patron book reviews and comments

Registrants	How many patrons have registered for the program.
Quantity	How many total primary units have been completed by registrants
Reviews	Allows you to read and moderate patron book reviews.This will also show you how many pending reviews are awaiting moderation, if moderation is enabled.
Comments	Allows you to read and moderate patron book reviews.This will also show you how many pending reviews are awaiting moderation, if moderation is enabled.

At the bottom there are two buttons. If Reviews or Comments have been added, the Reviews/Comments button will appear. This takes you to the Manage Reviews\Comments page.

The Random Drawing button allows you to run a drawing to select a registrant to win a prize.
